The diameter of the rivet rod is determined by the actual load on the rivet. However, to the extent that riveting is also the main form of riveting, the diameter of the rivet rod is closely related to the thickness of the riveted part.
If the rivet is of the same material as the rivet, the diameter of the rivet rod shall be 1.4 times the T square root of the thickness of the thickest sheet. If the diameter of the rivet rod is greater than this value, the rivet is difficult, and the strength of the rivet member is weakened due to the increase of the nail hole; Otherwise, the strength of the rivet is reduced. If the diameter of the rivet rod is too small, the rivet rod may bend when riveted.
When the riveted part is thick, the excessive rivet rod will bear the bending load. In this case, a more reasonable method is to machine the countersunk hole of the rivet head in the rivet to complete the riveting with a shorter rivet.
What factors affect the tension of the rivet?
1. The outside diameter of the rivet is too small, which will cause the rivet to loosen after riveting
2, there is an anomaly in rivet 5, but the customer did not rivet into the galvanized sheet during riveting, resulting in the rivet loosening after riveting
3, the difference between the parts of the rivets inserted into the slot is too small, resulting in the galvanized sheet material can not be well squeezed into the slot during the riveting process
4, the torsional force of the rivet is mainly related to the difference of the embossing step of the rivet and the difference of the section of the groove. The relevant dimensions of the colleagues are also consistent with the thickness of the customer's galvanized sheet
5, the rivet screw is the key size of the rivet, if the tooth deviation phenomenon, the customer will cause the rivet screw damage, the sliding tooth behind the rivet can not be driven by the screw
6, the rivet has NOGO phenomenon, the screw after the rivet can not match the rivet screw, which will lead to sliding teeth
